[R4CK]

[R4CK] is an open source rack management tool.

Having trouble keeping track of your servers and network hardware? Can’t remember in which rack that one particular server resides? Or to what switchports your servers are connected.

[R4CK] is the tool to keep track of all your racks and it’s contents…

Features which [R4CK] is going to provide:

• Managing of IPv4 and IPv6 address space
• A visual representation of your racks
• Switchport <-> Server connections
• Have APC PDU’s? turn outlets on or off from within [R4CK]
• and many more…

At this point [R4CK] is in it’s preliminary stage. The idea has been born only recently so very little is finished at this point. Only the global idea exists and there’s a lot of work to be done, f.e. thinking up features, creating the base of the project, set-up a versioning environment, figure out which license to use, etc. etc.
